Gluten Free:
Although we (at present) don’t make gluten free bread, our range includes many traditional bakery products that are not only wholesome, but are of course gluten free:

Being Bakers since 1883, we reckon we know a thing or two about baking! The experience that we have gained over the years is now being applied to our new range of products for people with particular dietary requirements.
Sugar Free Cakes:
We dont use any artificial sweeteners or supplements in our products. The sweetness in all our cakes comes naturally, from fruit, trees and other plants. This sweetener is called Xylotol, and is derived from some of these scources.
Xylotol is not only natural, but is also diabetic friendly:
- It has no known effect on insulin levels
- It has a glycemic index of only 7
- It has 75% less available carbohydrates than sugar, and 40% fewer calories.
- Because of the natural alkaline composition, it is also very tooth friendly! Research has shown that this results in up to a 60% reduction of cavities and can help prevent plaque build up.
- Can really help if you are on a calorie controlled diet.
Gluten Free Cakes:
We also make a range of cakes that is gluten free. All our ingredients are sourced locally, and we are very pleased to be associated with Glebe Farms of Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, who are our main suppliers of flour and associated products.
